**Warning, new HMRC phishing scam**
If you get an email with the subject, “Your 2016 Tax Report”, with an attachment, do not open it!!!
Forward it to email@example.com and then delete it.
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will never use texts or emails to:
- tell you about a tax rebate or penalty
- ask for personal or payment information
Forward suspicious text messages to HMRC’s phishing team to 60599. Text messages will be charged at your network rate.
Forward suspicious emails to HMRC’s phishing team.
